Sidnaw's Prickett Grooms Airport is a 2600' public use grass strip that was reopened July 2006 by the Southern Houghton County Airport and Heritage Association after being closed by the state of Michigan 2004. It borders the town of Sidnaw, Michigan and has camping and cabins available adjacent to the airfield, along with a local cafe, and mini-mart all within 200 yards. The airport is closed during the winter months, or when there is snow present on the runway. |
